The Inspirational, Professional, Learning Community Network is a formal collaboration of twelve diverse schools in Rochdale and Oldham. The network includes community schools, a faith school and a special school. As a collaborative group of schools we have a long standing successful relationship with the University of Manchester and have supported the PGCE programme of ITT for many years.
As a group, we are committed to providing the very best support and professional development opportunities for our staff and fully believe in ‘growing our own’.
We are therefore now delighted to be able to offer bespoke Initial Teacher Training through School Direct. Whilst five of the IPLCN schools make up the Alliance, students will gain access to the diverse contexts and specialisms within all of the IPLCN schools through our tailor made programme. The IPLCN School Direct Alliance is run through Marland Hill Primary School.
Our organisation provides challenge, mutual respect and positive support across the schools as we reflect, learn and develop together. Through collaboration, we exchange ideas, explore possibilities and improve from within in the spirit of trust, friendship and professionalism.
